Residential and cabinet painting · Northwest Arkansas
Whole-home and kitchen cabinet painting for Northwest Arkansas houses
Whole-home repaints and kitchen and bathroom cabinets refinished without replacing them: cleaned, sanded, primed and coated to resist wear.
Chapter 01
Where a house repaint and a tired kitchen go wrong
A repaint rarely fails in the open middle of a wall. It fails at the edges of the job: a cabinet door whose finish went tacky beside the stove, a hallway that looks fine in daylight and patchy under lamps, one room a shade off from the next because the work happened across three weekends and three batches of color. Whole-home painting is mostly about consistency from room to room, and that is exactly where a do-it-yourself repaint struggles.
Kitchens are the hard case. Cabinet doors collect cooking grease and hand oils, and paint will not grip a greasy surface. The finish wears first at the pulls, goes sticky near the range and starts to lift along the door edges. Paint over that without real preparation and you get a nice-looking kitchen for a few weeks and a peeling one by next spring, especially after a humid Northwest Arkansas summer.
A lot of homeowners here also struggle with the same two questions: which finish is right for which room, and how to find a painter who shows up and keeps his word. Uneven coats, peeling paint and wasted weekends are what happens when neither question gets a good answer.

Cabinets refinished without replacing a single box
Cabinet painting gives a kitchen or bathroom a high-end makeover without the cost and mess of replacing the cabinets. The work is mostly preparation: cleaning off the grease, sanding so the new coat has something to hold, priming, and then smooth finishes that resist wear and tear on doors you open dozens of times a day.
The same crew handles the rest of the house, which is why a whole-home job stays coherent. Interior painting covers walls, trim, ceilings and the right sheen in each room, exterior painting and deck and fence staining cover the outside, and drywall repair comes along when a wall needs patching first. Milton M, who hired the crew for a new home, wrote that they painted the walls, helped repurpose several rooms, stained shelves and completely refreshed the stairwell.
Obed's team measures your rooms in person, so the number you get reflects your house and not a rule of thumb. Pricing is upfront, with no hidden surprises. For a sense of the market, walls alone in Northwest Arkansas typically run around $2.75 per square foot, and a 12x12 room typically lands between $400 and $950 with paint and supplies. Those are typical market ranges, not our price list.
Chapter 03
Curing, cleaning and keeping the whole house in one palette
Painted cabinets need time to cure before they take a full day of hard use, so we plan the kitchen around that.
Go gently for the first stretch: no scrubbing, no tape on the doors, and we will tell you how long to wait for the finish on your cabinets. Once cured, clean painted cabinets with a soft cloth and mild soap rather than an abrasive pad, and wipe up splashes near the sink and range quickly.
A whole-home repaint also needs a plan for the palette. Keep trim and ceiling whites consistent from room to room, let wall colors change with the light in each room, and keep touch-up paint labeled with the room and the sheen. What homeowners say about the crew
“The Quality Pro Painting team did an excellent job on our new home. They painted the walls, helped us repurpose several rooms, stained shelves, and completely refreshed our stairwell. We were impressed from day one. Obed was very transparent throughout the process and provided valuable guidance on details we had not considered before starting the project. His expertise helped us make informed decisions and avoid potential issues. The crew was professional, respectful, and efficient. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed to a high standard and even took care of a few additional repairs that needed attention without us having to ask. Best of all, they did not charge us extra for that work. I highly recommend Quality Pro Painting for any painting or staining project. Their quality, professionalism, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations.”
“I have been on a long renovation journey both inside and outside. Quality Pro painting was there every step of the process. The quality of work is amazing and the team of professionals working on this project were awesome. I highly recommend Obed and his team for your project!”
